How were Jeffrey O’Brien and Robert Marzan killed?
The US and Israel jointly attacked Iran on February 28, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. US President Donald Trump called it “Operation Epic Fury” and described the military strike as a “major combat operation” in a post on Truth Social, while Israel called it “Operation Roaring Lion”. The attacks targeted key Iranian military sites, including missile facilities, naval bases and sites near Khamenei’s office.
Afterwards, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched retaliatory strikes under ‘Operation True Promise 4’. To avenge the death of its supreme leader, Iran attacked US military bases, consulates and embassies throughout the Persian Gulf region.
