At the final of the 2025 US Open, the former tennis star Eugenie Bouchard added a touch of humor to intensive rivalry between Carlos Alcaz and Jannik Sinner. Bouchard, known for her funny presence of social media, shared her observation of warm -up players before the match.
While Alcaraz focused on strength and basic training, the sinner favored speed and dexterity and moved quickly around the court.

Bouchard commented on their preparations and playfully predicted Alcaraz’s victory and said, “I saw the heating of players in the gym before the match on television. Based on that, I predict Alcaraz. I will reveal my theory only when he win.”
On Sunday, Alcaraz had the last laughter and defeated the defendant Sinner champion 6-2, 3–6, 6-1, 6-4 in two hours and 42 minutes at the wrapped central court. After the match Bouchard translated a video about players’ training with the headline: “For this reason.”
