Carlos Alcaraz was handed over to the 2025 US Open in a delicate way, although he avoided the defense of Jannika’s champion Sinner half of the draw. The Spaniard, who chased the second crown at Flushing Meadows, could face a high -valuable semifinal against one of his well -known rival Novak Djokovich if both of them follow expected.
Alcaraz, who opens his campaign against the American Reilly Opelka, landed in a difficult quarter with 2021 champion Daniil Medvedev, winner of Toronto Ben Shelton and finalist 2022 Casper Ruud. In order to achieve the last four, he may have to go through at least one of these candidates in the form.
Meanwhile, Djokovic starts against the Tien pupil and sits in the same half as Alcaraz. A Serbian veteran, a four-time US Open winner that chases a record 25. At the beginning of this year, Alcaraz defeated in four sets in the Australian Open quarterfinals.

Alcaraz enters New York with six titles and 54 wins this season, but will have to go through a challenging way if he wants another shot for trophy-and maybe even the last Sinner clearing.
