US-Israel Iran War LIVE Updates: Limited flight operations have resumed in parts of the Middle East as the war in Iran has recently escalated.
US President Donald Trump said at the White House on Friday that the United States is doing “very well” in operations against Iran. He added that the Iranian army had been largely destroyed and praised the performance of the US armed forces.
“There’s a lot we’re doing — we’re doing very well in Iran, by the way. Someone asked how I would rate it on a scale of zero to 10. I said I’d rate it a 12 to 15,” Trump said.
The US president also called on Iran to “unconditionally surrender”.
Meanwhile, the USS Gerald R. Ford is now operating in the Middle East as the conflict with Iran continues amid airstrikes, Iran International reported.
On Friday, the Pentagon released photos showing the aircraft carrier and the USS Bainbridge sailing through the Suez Canal, the waterway connecting the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
According to USNI News, another carrier from the United States is expected to deploy. The USS George HW Bush concluded a training exercise on Thursday, the Navy announced.
