
A young student from the Guntur Andhra Pradesh district, who devoted herself to a master’s degree in the United States, died after the incident affected in Denton City in Texas, the family members said according to the PTI report.
In Deepthi, she walked near 2300 CARRIL AL LAGO Drive 12. April, along with her friend Snigdha – also from Guntur – when he plunged into the scene and fled the scene. Deepthi suffered serious head injuries and died on April 15, while Snigdha is currently undergoing surgery and is in a stable state, the family said.
Was weeks since graduation
Deepthi, a graduate of B Tech at Narasaraopet Engineering College, watched her master’s degree at the University of North Texas and was expected to complete in May.
“She was so close to graduation. Next month we planned to participate in the ceremony,” said her father Hanumantha Rao Pti. “We sold agricultural land to finance her education. It’s an unbearable loss.”
Last conversation with parents
Deepthia’s father told her last conversation with her over the phone.
“I spoke to her occasionally, and when she was in a hurry to take part in the classes, she told us she would call on Sunday when she would be free. It turned out to be the last call,” Rao said, trying to hold tears.
Body to reach India on Monday
According to the family, Deepthi’s body will be departed from the US on Saturday after the completion of all formalities with the help of Teluga Associations in America. The body is expected to arrive at Hyderabad by Monday morning, Hanumantha Rao said.
