Ulozhuku in Parvathy with Uvashi
Jury National Film decision to grant Uvashi and VijayaraGhavan in the categories of support actors, although they play the main roles in Ulozhukku and Pookkaaalam, or when it was announced last week.
The actress has now raised questions about the criterion on which their performances were considered in the support category and not in the main category.
Uvashi spoke to Hinda on Monday on Monday and said she did not question the prizes awarded to another actor, but wanted clarity, as her performance was considered the best supportive actress.
“I don’t know if the old rules have changed there. Previously, the actors who played the lead roles were considered only to be the best award of the actor. Relatively few people, including young actresses, called me and asked me about this particular decision of the jury that made me question the jury’s decision.
She heard that her performance in J Baby questioned repeated cases of actors and films from the south.
“I’m not afraid of speaking because these are my own words. I have no connection with any political party. My questions are for a reward jury, not the government. It will certainly receive the prize because it is recognition for the whole Ulozhuk team,” she said.
In Ulozhuk, Christo Tomy plays Urvashi Leelamma, who shares a full relationship with her sister -in -law played by Parvathy. The woman was destroyed by the death of her son and caught up in the middle of the revelation of unpleasant truths that the woman was deep into her inventory navigating for problem waters. The performance was awarded to the Best Actress at the Kenála State Film Awards.
