With no vacancies in their super specialized department, 12 government urologists who have completed M.Ch. Urologists in 2025 have been working as emergency physicians (CMOs) in the emergency departments (EDs) of state medical teaching hospitals for almost a year, providing emergency care and writing accident registries every day.

Urologists were among the service graduates who completed the DM/M.Ch. in 2025. While most of them were posted to their parent departments, some were assigned as CMOs, including new medical teaching hospitals operating without super specialty departments.
