
Extensively upgrading its properties, the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) has completed the upgrade of KTDC Rain Drops in Chennai, the only property owned by the corporation outside Kerala.
The property reopened Tuesday after a comprehensive facelift. PA Minister of Tourism and Public Works Mohamed Riyas inaugurated it online.
Forty-five rooms at Rain Drops have been renovated as part of a ₹4.55 million project. The property now offers modern amenities, said a statement issued by KTDC.
The strategically located property has 90 well-appointed rooms, 10 of which function as a government guest house. It has a multi-cuisine restaurant renowned for authentic Kerala cuisine and two banquet halls with a capacity of 80 and 100 people.
Here it is stated that the property is ideal for stay, meetings, fine dining and banquets.
