The day of the opening of the monsoon meeting of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh became a stormy, with the ruling party Bharatiya Janata (BJP) and the main opposition party – Samajwadi Party (SP) – took over Potshots for more problems.
“The facade of democracy”
While the SP MLA protested against problems such as flood, merger, corruption, cuts and situations in the field of law and order, the main Minister Yogi Adityanath accused SP to hide behind the “facade” of democracy and at the same time submitted traders and “GOONDA” during the term between 2012 and 2017.
He asked SP to stand up against the Gorakhpur Heritage corridor and call his attitude “anti-razor”. He outlined the project and said the corridor would combine iconic monuments, including Ghantaghar – the oldest city market – and Gita Press.
The opposition leader in the assembly of Mat Prasad Pandey claimed that the state government failed on all fronts and stated that Uttar Pradesh was facing very serious problems.
Meanwhile, the President of the Party Bahajan Samaj Mayawati urged all political parties to take full advantage of the assembly in the interest of people.
