A 25 -year -old Bareilly man, Uttar Pradesh, married a “beautiful” woman forty days ago, climbed to the roof in an effort to take his own life after facing mockeys from a neighbors who said he was less attractive than his wife. A video about the incident is now becoming a viral on social media.

“After receiving information, the Sirsouli police immediately reached the seat. After the investigation, the Gurudev Upiphyay had a dispute related to marriage about 40 days ago. The villagers and his family said he was mentally unstable and in need and grief, and tried to commit suicide from the roof.
“With a constant effort of three to four hours, the SIRSOULI police team with the help of the public and rescue settings successfully brought it safely. After advice, Gurudev was submitted to his family members.”
Social media users have triggered a comparison with the scene from Sholay, and at the same time urged others not to confirm or scared anyone.
