Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday (March 24, 2026) said the state has become a safe and reliable investment destination with the state’s identity transformed through transparent policies, strict law and order, improved infrastructure and industry-friendliness.
“In the last nine years, the state has completely transformed its identity through transparent policies, strict law and order, improved infrastructure and an industry-friendly environment,” Mr. Adityanath said at the launch of the ‘Nivesh Mitra 3.0’ single window system in Lucknow.
“UP offers a conducive ecosystem for scalable businesses, a huge consumer market, skilled young human resources and seamless connectivity at one place,” added the UP director who distributed incentives to 45 companies and Letters of Comfort (LoC) to 62 companies. “The government is determined to ensure a quick breakthrough after the MoUs, quickly resolve minor investment-related issues and ensure an enabling environment for industry,” the CM said, adding that business confidence serves as the real foundation for development and the government will continue to leverage it to establish itself as a leading hub for investment and industrial development.
“Investor confidence is the state’s most important asset and the administration is working diligently to strengthen it. Uttar Pradesh boasts of a workforce that is both market and industry ready, includes a significant number of skilled young individuals. It also has one of the most favorable demographic dividends in the world along with a large consumer market, making it extremely attractive to investors.”
Mr. Adityanath also said that for further ease of doing business, the complicated procedure of conversion of land use under Section 80 has been done away with. Now, once the map receives approval under the master plan, the land use will automatically be deemed approved, eliminating the need for separate certification.
