The main goal is to attract companies that try to diversify their supplier chains outside China, according to PTI.
Up as a reliable alternative to China
The initiative of possession of roadshows and business round tables is part of the “Invest-Up” initiative to build a state as a robust and reliable alternative for international investors, a press release said on Friday.
The state government led by the main minister Yogi Adityanath is actively trying to promote its skills to offer a stable and attractive environment for companies that try to expand or move their production and operational bases outside China, PTI reported.
Global reach in key cities
The investment interviews are to be held in prominent global financial and shopping centers, including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Amsterdam and Birmingham.
These events are organized in cooperation with Indian embassies and industrial bodies.
Dialogues with technical giants
In the US, UTTAR Pradesh delegations are planning to organize key dialogues with major technology companies such as Google, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Oracle, he said.
Outreach shows that the state intends to attract investments across a wide range of industries, including high-tech and digital services.
Focus on the growth of work, sustainability
Main Secretary of Manoj Kumar Singh also stressed that UTTAR Pradesh’s approach exceeds the invitation of investment. “It is not only an invitation of investment, but also building sustainable value chains focused on employment,” he said.
He also emphasized the attractive political framework of the state, which includes 33-plus sector policy, efficient approval processes and digital system with one NiveSh Mitra window, all designed to speed up investors’ confidence and facilitate easy business, the news agency reported.
