The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet (September 2, 2025) approved the establishment of Outsource Service Corporation Limited, which appoints outsourced employees in the state for three years with a monthly fee of 16,000-20,000 GBP.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and the government described it as a landmark to make outsourcing services more transparent, more responsible and friendly.
Previously, there was no government agency responsible for hiring outsourced workers. Recruitment was carried out through private agencies and has been charged with paying a lower royalty and social benefits were not provided.
“The company established under Section 8 of the 2013 Company Acts will act as a limited liability company. From now on, outsourcing agencies will no longer be selected directly;
Within the new system, salaries will be transferred directly to employees’ bank accounts between 1 and 5. Every month, along with the contribution of the interim fund of employees (EPF) and State Insurance of Employees (ESI).
“The company was necessary because the agencies could not have provided employees of their full royalties and often neglected mandatory contributions of EPF and ESI. This step removes discrepancies and guarantees each employee his legitimate fees,” said Suresh Khanna, Finance Minister.
Reservation extended
The government said that in the new framework, planned Kasty (SCS), planned tribes (STS), other backward classes (Civil Code), economic weaker sections (EWS), Divyangjan, former servants and women will receive reservations according to constitutional commissions.
Women’s employees will be entitled to maternity leave, while all workers will have regular training to improve their skills. In addition, 15,000 GBP will be provided in the event of death during the service, the government added.
