
Unused land under government authorities and empty flats originally built for the Tsunami rehabilitation program will be offered without land among extremely poor families in the state.
The decision was taken by the cabinet on Wednesday. The cabinet decided to allow district collectors to identify the land for the soil among extremely poor in this way. Collectors will be allowed to obtain up to two acres in Panchayats, one acre in municipalities and 50 cents in corporations without a certificate of multiple from the relevant departments.
They will also be authorized to hand over all the apartments and properties within the Tsunami Rehabilitation Program, which lies free families without land among the extremely poor. District collectors were asked to lead discussions with government authorities to identify the land.
The Cabinet approved the proposal of alcohol policy for fiscal fiscal 2025-26 on Wednesday, the Office of the Chief Minister said.
