
The temporary ban on the movement of heavy vehicles in the Kodag district was extended until 5 August, according to the order issued by the vice -chairman and chairman of the Regional Transport Office of the Venkataraja.
The prohibition applies to all types of vehicles for wood and vehicle transport vehicles, vehicles with a registered weight exceeding 18.5 tons, balls of balls, cargo containers, long chassis (more axles) and articulated trucks.
Exceptions, however, were awarded to LPG vehicles and fuel supply, milk supply vehicles, vehicles used for government work and school, college and public passenger vehicles, including multiple buses.
The restriction was imposed according to the 1963 Police Act, the 1963 Code of Management, the 1988 Motor Vehicle Act and Bharatiya Nagarika Surraksha Sanhita (Indian Civil Security Act), 2023, 2023, 2023, in the district witnessed heavy rain.
The inspection contributions will be set up on the borders of Kusklagar and Sampaj on the national highway- 275 passing through Kodag, with monitoring and clock patrol.
Police and officials of the Department of Transport were ordered to enforce the prohibition and initiation of legal proceedings against the violators, the deputy commissioner said.
Previously, the ban was in force between June 6 and June 5.
