The vacancies of seniors (SR) were reportedly appeared as another concern in the Government Faculty of Medicine (MCH), Kozhikode, which is already affected by a lack of doctors and domestic surgeons.
SRS are doctors who have completed postgraduate courses such as doctor of medicine (MD). Together with domestic surgeons – medical graduates who have completed their course and do their compulsory internship – and postgraduate students, they offer valuable services for medical university hospital systems.
According to reliable sources, the Ministry of General Medicine in Kozhikode MCH has vacancies for seven SR. Of the 10 posts there are currently only three. One SR was temporarily sent from the Ministry of Surgery in the Plastic Surgery section. The gynecology department has two vacancies, the Ministry of Lung Medicine has one vacancy and the Ministry of Anesthesia has three vacancies. There is also a lack of SRS in the Super Specialty Department, while the Ministry of Urgent medicine reports a free space.
This is also one of the results of the SRS transfer from there to other government hospitals Faculty of Medicine in Manjeri, Wayanad and Karagod, before the Inspection of the National Medical Commission. It was also argued that those who cleaned the MD from here were published as SRS elsewhere. Sources say that this situation is putting further pressure on postgraduate students in the last year, who are now also appearing for their exams. Along with this, the arrangement comes to the department for receiving patients with suspicious symptoms of NIPAH.
Meanwhile, the attempt of hospital authorities to appoint non-academic junior resident doctors (NAV) -ABSOLVENTS MBBS who have completed their course, but do not take any PG-interviewing course by interviewing a lukewarm response. Sources claim that only three or four people attended the interview for 4 July. Applicants will learn to accuse the lack of clarity of timing and contributions in an interview for a poor reaction. The authorities tried to accept NajR with regard to the climax of the batch of batch in 2019 of approximately 240 domestic surgeons. The new batch still has to join. Although the Directorate of Medical Education approved the appointment of 120 Najr, only about 45 people seemed willing to join the service. Even among them, many of them postponed their connection date until July 20 and academic commitments.
