Students of Hassan universities on Tuesday organized a protest under the auspices of democratic students of All India (AidSO) and condemned the delay in the appointment of a guest faculty.
The students gathered in front of the Hemavathi statue in the city and raised the slogans against the state government. They said there were no classes because there were no teachers.
Chaitra, the AIDSO district report, said that the faculty of guests was released from service a month ago. “All universities of government titles in the state depend on visiting faculties for classes. There are no teachers who would attend courses for some subjects. There are regular classes in the last month. This has threatened the academic environment,” she said.
Although the first internal tests were planned for the next month, there were no classes on many subjects. She said that the state government should take a clear attitude to the qualifications of the visiting lecturers and ensure that they are named first.
The protesters were submitted by representatives of the Commissioner to the Minister of Higher Education. The protest was led by co -founder Aidso, Sushma, members of the Yashmeen, Thilak, Mohan, Abhishek and others Committee.
