Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying SP Singh Baghel visited ICAR Regional Center – Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) on Beach Road on Thursday evening.
CMFRI Chief Joe K. Kizhakudan escorted the minister around the laboratories, museum, live display of marine fish, live feeds etc. Later, scientists and staff attended a meeting hosted by the minister. Dr. Joe presented the achievements of scientists, technology and policy advice provided to the state and country.
