The Union’s cabinet will meet on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) for the first time since the 22nd April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which remained 26 people dead.
The meeting under the Presidency of the premiere of Narendry Modi will be convened on Wednesday at 11 am.
Last week there was no meeting of the Union’s cabinet and on April 23, only the Safety Committee (CCS) met and condemned the terrorist attack.
After the CCS India meeting, it announced a number of measures, including a reduction in diplomatic links with Pakistan.
Among other things, India announced the exclusion of the Pakistani army, the suspension of more than six-year Treaty on Indus water and the immediate conclusion of the Attari Land-Transit Post with regard to cross-border links to the terrorist attack Pahalgam.
