Alumni batch of Sainik School from 1983 met on their alma mater on Monday.
Daily programs began with the ceremony of layering rim on Stupa Rembrance. This was followed by a tour of classrooms, laboratories and other facilities and gave memories of their formative years.
Aviation Marshal B. Manicantan, commanding the chief officer, command of the southern air and an old boy of the school, gave the school image on this occasion.
“The unification served as an inspiring platform for the current school community to interact with the former cadets. Their success and considerations deeply resonated with the audience and reaffirmed shared values, traditions and undisturbed spirit, defined by Sainik School Kazhakootam,” Defense spokesman said.
