The United States vigorously prevented its military strikes at Iranian nuclear places during the UN Security Council on Sunday 22nd June, which framed the event as long -term measures to protect global peace, regional allies and American lives.
Ambassador of the US Ambassador with UN Dorothy Shea gave a violent speech and said that Washington had exhausted all other options that focused on key devices in Ford, Natanz and Isfahan.
“In the end, the time for the United States, to defend his ally and to defend our own citizens and interests to act definitely,” Shea said.
“Death to America”, not just the slogan
Shea accused Iran of supporting four decades of hostility against the West and emphasized his long -term threats against the US and Israel.
“For 40 years, the Iranian government called for death to America and the death of Israel and represented the constant threat of the peace and security of its neighbors, the United States and the world,” she said.
Her remarks followed by Iranian challenges to make the Security Council condemn what Tehran described as an act of American aggression and violation of international law.
Iran urged to avoid further escalation
The American envoy of a direct appeal to Iranian leadership to avoid retaliation and instead returns to diplomacy.
“Iran should not escalate,” Shea warned, because regional powers were prepared for a potential Iranian military reaction.
Invite to the action of the Council of Iranian Aggression
Shea moved the focus on the wider regional activities of Iran and urged the Council of Security to face what Tehran’s long -term destabilization agenda was called.
“In order for this advice to meet its main mission to maintain international peace and security, it must invite the Iranian regime to end the 47 -year effort to eliminate the state of Israel,” she said.
“(Iran must) end his efforts for nuclear weapons, stop targeting American citizens and interests, and negotiating peace in good faith for the prosperity and security of the Iranian people and all other countries in the region.”

Iran strives for the UN action because the Security Council is considering a proposal for a resolution on strikes
Iran formally asked the UN Security Council to take on what she described as “an obvious and illegal aggressive act” after recent American military strikes in her nuclear places. Tehran urged the fifteen -member body to give a strong conviction.
The proposal of the resolution – spread by Russia, China and Pakistan – requires an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and condemns attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. While the resolution avoids the direct name of the United States or Israel, its language attracted sharp reactions.
Diplomats said that Member States must submit feedback to the proposal by Monday evening, but remains unclear when the vote could take place. In order to go through the resolution, it would require at least nine positive votes and no sentences from any of the five permanent members – the US, France, Great Britain, Russia or China.
The Israeli Ambassador at the UN, Danny Danon, defended the common US-Israeli operation and said that neither country interferes.
“The US and Israel do not deserve any convictions, but rather the expression of recognition and gratitude for becoming a safer place,” Danon said in his statement.
When he talked to reporters before the Security Council meeting, Danon noted that it was too early to assess the full impact of US air strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
