Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada were almost lost for words because South Africa ended 27 years of waiting for the title of ICC and defeated Australia in the Lord Final on Saturday morning with five goals in the World Championship final.
Until now, the ICC ICC from 1998 has remained the only main global success in South Africa – she often remembered objections and overshadowed years of heartbreaking turns. The long, frustrating waiting is now over. After so many close mistakes, it was a defining moment – one that resonates far beyond the border rope. It is a result that will be widely celebrated, not only as a triumph for South Africa, but as a significant support for a test cricket outside traditional Indian, England and Australia.
Aiden Markram and Kagiso Rabada played with the bat and the ball, while Temba Bavum has expanded his undefeated run as a test captain because the protease appeared triumphant in the final of the global event – their first since he was taken over in 1991 – after permanent decades.
JANSEN and RABADA, both part of the South African Party, which did not reach Australia in the World Cup semifinals against Australia, and again in the World Cup final against India 2024, admitted that the nerves are running high before the long -awaited dream of winning the World Championship in the test.
SA vs aus, WTC Final: The most important
Jansen described Markram and Bavum as their “unfreaking-underable” performance in the WTC final.
“There was a lot of nerves in the room for change. A lot of people fell silent, including me, but to have fans, heard them that they cheer us up, every single ball, every single run, you can’t ask any more.
In the finals, Rabada was the driving force, in the first shifts he took five goals and added four more for the second. Rabada acknowledged the size of the victory for the South African team and at the same time focused on critics who questioned the family tree of South Africa to defeat the side of the Australian caliber near Lord.
“I can’t describe how I feel at the moment, only very happy. Throughout this season, I think we planned really well, we worked really hard and I think we deserved to get into this position.
