The aircraft subsequently developed a technical problem, while on the ground that excluded its return to the plane.
Engineers from HMS Prince of Wales rated the plane and it was decided that the support of the British engineering team was needed. “At the moment, we do not have a prognosis for repairing aircraft. To minimize the disturbance of ordinary airport operations, the aircraft will be moved to the maintenance and reworking space space as soon as specialized equipment and British engineering teams arrive,” the British authorities said.
“During this diversion incident, we worked closely with all Indian authorities, including Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and International Airport Thiruvananthapuram, and we are very grateful for their support. The authorities also claimed that the towing equipment was supplied to safely move the aircraft to the Air India hangar device. The towing of the aircraft to the hangar can prematurely brake the planned maintenance of other aircraft. As soon as specialized and British engineering teams come here, it will be moved to the hangar.
