Days after the creator of the YouTube content Jyoti Rani was arrested for accusation of espionage, the Madhya Pradesh police team questioned it in April 2024 when visiting Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar, police officials confirmed on Friday.

“We found out that she also visited Ujjain in the past, and because it is a sensitive and religious city, we wanted to explore her activities here. The team is now returning from Haryana and nothing suspicious has been found yet,” Bhargava Hindu said.
He added that Mrs. Rani visited the Mahakaleshwar temple as “regular dedicated in the queue” and that the local police had started to follow her activities in Ujjain since her arrest. The local police remain in coordination with investigative agencies that process a larger case of espionage.
Visits to Mrs. Rani in Pakistan and the Pakistani High Commission in Nový Dilli are subject to investigation. The Hisar police claimed that Pakistan’s intelligence officials were regulated as “asset”.
Its arrest comes in the middle of increased security fears after the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, and in recent weeks there have been several arrests through Pandjab, Haryan and Uttar Pradesh.
