The National Testing Agency on Friday (September 18, 2026) announced the results for the UGC-NET examination papers for English, Commerce and Sociology.

The NTA had last month announced a reexamination of three papers of the June 2026 UGC-NET exam following complaints of several errors in the papers.

“UGC NET June 2026 exam results for English, Commerce and Sociology. Candidates can view and download their result cards through the official website,” the National Testing Agency (NTA) said in a post on X. The English paper was held on September 9 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the first shift, while the business paper was held on the same day at 6:00 pm in 15:00.

The sociology paper was held on September 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the first shift.

NTA conducted the UGC-NET June 2026 examination from 22nd to 30th June in 87 subjects for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes.
