The price of raw mango, the key components of Ugadi Pachchadi, is higher according to sellers. Sealers who sold six raw mango for 100 GBP now sell four of them for the same price. The Ugadi Festival, which refers to the New Year of Telugu, will be celebrated on Sunday (March 30, 2025)
Malesh, a seller in Badichowdi of Hyderabad, said on Saturday (March 29, 2025) that he would receive immature fruit from appetituppal and van – which starts since January, was less this season. Sellers in other parts of the city also quoted approximately the same price.

Fruit is accepted from farms in Erstwhi Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Hanumakonda, Vicrabad, Shadnagar, Yangaon, Khammam and some districts in the neighboring Andhra Pradesh.
