The State Council for Higher Education Andhra Pradesh (APSCHE) began the process of revision of the curriculum framework for higher education programs (UG) for the academic year 2025-26, in accordance with the NEP-2020 and University Grants Commission (UGC) -2022 revised structure.
On Wednesday on Wednesday, the Council Secretary (FAC) TVS Krishna Murtha said that the main change of the proposed curriculum is to shift from the only main one to the double main system.
In order to facilitate this change, the APSCHE issued a notification of conversion from a single major into a dual major for all UG programs into existing private and without help at universities. Revision of the curriculum will enter into force for 2025–26.
Prof. Murty said that online applications were invited from all existing private failed universities and for programs without help at universities in private aid. The online portal will be open from May 29, 2025 and the latest date for sending the online application is 7 June 2025. More details can be found on the website www.apsche.org./www.apsche.ap.gov.in.
