The University of Hyderabad (UAH) received a GRANT 5 GBP CRORE from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for creating an Excellence Center (COE) in digital twins technology.
The University of Edition said the grant was part of Hal’s Corporate Social Respontion and is aimed at supporting advanced technological research with national meaning.
The fund will be used to establish a research infrastructure, including the Twin Research Lab Digital Research Laboratory, the Laboratory for the Development of Practical Skills and the auditorium for educational programs and workshops.
Vice -President BJ Rao congratulated the professors of Samrat Sabat, Siba Udgat and M. Ghanashyam Krishna, who played a key role in it.
“The upcoming COE will serve as a national source for innovation and human resources,” Rao said.
