Two youths were arrested for hurling a petrol bomb at the house of Viduthalaia Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) functionary in Ranipet town on Sunday.
Police said the arrested persons were identified as K. Ajith Kumar, 23, and his friend V. Bharath Raj, 24. Initial investigation revealed that VCK functionary Antony, 42, had been living with his family at VOC Nagar in Ranipet for the past few years.
