Two minor girls studying Class 10 in West Godavari district were allegedly sexually assaulted by two youths in a cottage in Mogalturu village.
The accused, T. Durga Prasad and T. Rajendra, were booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) 2012 and other charges, Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi said.
The main accused Durga Prasad befriended one of the victims through a social media group and invited her to the lodge a few days ago. When the girl came with her boyfriend, the accused allegedly raped them.
Based on the complaint, the Mogaltur police registered a case and arrested the accused on Saturday, the SP said.
