During the tragic incident, a two-year-old female leopard was found on the Gurogram-Faridabad road on Friday evening, Tribune reported on Saturday.
After the incident, the local NGOs pointed out the authorities of wild animals that arrived at the place and took the body into custody for postmortem test.
“It seems that this is a hit-and-run and it is certainly a big loss for us. Postmort is going on. The speed of vehicles at night in this section is definitely a matter of worrying,” said RK Yangra, an officer of wild animals while talking to Tribune.
According to the details, the Grrabogram-Faridabad road runs along the shrine of the wilderness of Asola Bhatti north and Aravallis to the south.
Officials noted that leopards often move in this way and move between the two areas, which increases the risk of accidents.
In recent years, observations have become more frequent and estimates indicate that approximately 50 leopards have been inhabited by Aravalli’s section in the Grulogram. At the beginning of 2019, Leopard was killed in a traffic accident on the same section.
For a long time, environmentalists have been advocating a “wild corridor” to allow safe passage for animals across the road. No permanent solution has been introduced, although the Haryana government has made sure it has been reassurance over the last two decades.
The report added that the state is proceeding with plans for Safari development of 10,000 hectares in Aravallis.
Leopard jumps on a quick bike near Tirupati:
A month ago, a video appeared on the social media showing Leopard bouncing on the speed wheel near Tirupati. Fortunately, cyclists had a miraculously narrow escape from a wild cat attack near the Park Road Zoo.
It is not clear when this incident occurred. The whole incident, however, was captured on a dash of the car, which is close to the bike.
