Two people died and about 15 people suffered injuries when a private bus hit a truck parked on the Shivamogga-Tirthahalli road near Gajanur in Shivamogg Taluk on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Harshith, 25, a native of Challake in Chitradurga and Annappa, 35, bus driver. The bus is heading to Challakee from Mangalur. The driver did not notice the truck of the parked road in the early hours.
The injuries were moved to McGann Hospital in Shivamogg City. Tung Nagar police registered this case.
