
Two Drug Pedlers were arrested for the strength of railway protection at the Arakkonam railway station in Ranipet
On Tuesday in Ranipet in Ranipet ranipette, they arrested two drug door -door forces to protect railways (RPF) for holding 30 kg of Ganja, worth around 15 lakh.
The police said the arrested persons were identified as G. Akash Paul 27 and Mohammed Ibrahim, 25 belonging to the tripra. Based on the orders of Asra Garg, IGP (North Zone), special teams were created in the district in the framework of intervention against drug trafficking.
After warning, the police staff checked RPF trains at the station. The police found a duo that waited on the platform and looked suspicious with the bags. When they asked, they gave contradictory answers to their purpose of traveling. Subsequently, the police checked their bags and found Ganja.
The arrested persons were submitted in a central prison in Vellore. The police said that strict measures would be taken against those drug smuggling into the state. It was found that the confiscated Ganja was to be sold in the retail between staff at industrial places in the region and Puduchherry. The probe is running.
