The Cyber Crime Branch of the Cyberabad Police has arrested two persons in connection with posting abusive, defamatory and objectionable content against actress Anasuya Bharadwaj on social media platforms.
According to the police, a complaint was received from the actress stating that since December 23, 2025, several persons and social media sites have been posting and circulating defamatory, abusive and obscene comments directed at her on various online platforms, damaging her reputation and dignity. Based on the complaint, a case was registered under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
