
Colonel K. Srinivas and Captain CDNV Prasad come from the 63th course of the National Defense Academy and Graduates Sainik School in the Crown.
Two veterans and older citizens from Andhra Pradesh-Plovník K. Srinivas and Captain CDNV Prasad-with released into a trans-ocean sailing attempt from New Zealand to India (Visakhapatnam) through countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
They started the first stage of their journey from Ophua Bay (New Zealand) to Savusav (Fiji) 14 May on a 34-foot ship called “Tystie”.
Depending on the weather conditions and winds, they are expected to reach Savusav in the next 12 to 13 days, subject to some sailing with the dog.
Seafood
Their passage route includes the port of calls to the Savusav (Fiji), port Villa (Vanuatu), Solomon Islands, Kupang (Indonesia), Bali (Indonesia), Penang (Malaysia), Langkawi (Malaysia), Phuket (Thailand) and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair).
They probably encounter several Teluga expatrrians or Indian origin people in different ports.
Both come from the 63th course.
Their ship is currently registered in Poland, but will be transferred to Indian registration and will be renamed “Visakha” (in honor of Visakhapatnam’s port) after Visakhapatnam at the end of this year.
“This is a remarkable trans-ocean effort to sailed two older Indian citizens.
The long Andhra coast, dotted with small and large ports, beaches and coastal villages, had great potential for naval hiking and the whole spectrum of the blue economy, the defending official said.
