
Two repeated perpetrators were involved in theft of the vehicle were arrested by the CCS Balanagar and Jeedimetla Police. Nine stolen vehicles were restored around 25 Lakh, including one four -wheeled, seven two -round and goods carriers.
The accused were identified as Nakka Srinivas Rao (32) from Ida Jeedimetl and Mohammed Shoheb, 26, from Bowramp. Both have been stealing motorcycles since 2014 and have been associated with more than 15 cases against them in Jeedimetle, Sueram, Pet Basheerab, Nerredmet, Kushaiguda and Shameerpet.
They were previously arrested several times and sent to prison, but every time they were released, they returned to theft of vehicles. The police urged the public to lock their vehicles correctly, parked only in safe areas, and install CCTV systems to avoid theft.
