Operation Guddar: Two soldiers were killed and two terrorists were expelled in a wild meeting in the Kulgam district in the south of Kashmir on Monday, September 8th, the officials said. The Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF performed a joint operation after receiving specific intelligence inputs.
According to preliminary reports, one of the killed terrorists was a local resident, while the other is considered a foreign militant known as the code “Rehman Bhai”. Three army staff were also injured in the incident; Two of them underwent Perbhat Gaur and L/NK Nander Sindhu later when they were in hospital, officials said, PTI reported.
The Chinar Army Choir based in Srinagar took X and said: “Based on the specific intelligence entry of JKP, the common search operation #indiianarmy, @Poškmrpolice & @crpf_srinagar at Guddar Forest #kulgam.”
He added alert units that noticed suspicious activities and after the attacked terrorists began fire, “caused a wild exchange of shooting, during which one terrorist was expelled and the junior authorized officer suffered injuries”.

“One other terrorist was removed during the ongoing surgery in Guddar Forest in Kulgam. One soldier suffered injuries and is evacuated for the necessary medical care. The identity of terrorists was found,” said the Chinarská choir of the Indian Army earlier.
He mentioned: “COP Guddar, Kulgam. Based on a specific JKP intelligence input, a common Search Operation #indiianarmy, @Pojkmrpolice & @crpf_srinagar in the forest Guddar #kulgam was launched.”
The operation is currently underway.
