
Thiruvananthapuram was sentenced to a complementary district and session of the court to a man and his lover for seven years of strict imprisonment and fined 50,000 GBP for attempting to murder his stolen wife.
The judge of Shibu found the Lalan, 59 years, a social worker who comes from Ayiroor, and Pulimath native of Sujath, 59, who is also a social worker, a guilty attempt to murder a native of Chemmarutha Geetha Nalan, 52.
According to prosecution led by a special prosecutor Ajith Prasad JK, the incident occurred on January 2, 2025. Geetha, a former member of Chemmarutha Gram Panchayat, lived with his children independently. After hearing that he had brought his lover to his house, Geetha went there to stand with him. She was attacked by the accused duo, which also forces her powder to the paste.
