Two rowdies externally from Bidar
Bidar Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gunti has ordered the eviction of two miscreants who were allegedly involved in betting by mothers, gambling and selling ganja. The exterior comes as they are considered a threat to public peace and law and order in the district.
The outside rioters were identified as Angada Harinath Kamble, a resident of a village under Manthal police jurisdiction in Basavakalyan taluk, and MD Sharief Miyan, a resident of Humnabad taluk in Bidar.
According to the police, Kamble was outside Raichur district while Sharief Miyan was externally involved in Kolar district.
Police said that Kamble collects money from people in villages and runs betting and gambling games as a mother.
Police said daily wage workers and petty traders, hoping to make a quick buck, lost their earnings in these gambling activities. Although 11 cases were registered against him, Kamble continued his illegal activities, police said.
Police said his transfer from Bidar to Raichur was ordered to maintain law and order.
Sharief Miyan, a resident in Humnabad police jurisdiction, is involved in illegal transportation and sale of ganja in Humnabad and bhalki taluks, police said.
His illegal activity affects the health of youth and students and threatens the social well-being of the city.
Although five cases were registered against him, he continued his illegal activities, police said.
He was transferred from Bidar to Kolar district.
Mr. Gunti said strict legal action would be taken against those involved in illegal activities and disrupting law and order in the district. Such people will also face external management, he pointed out.
