
The Bidar police on Tuesday continued their investigation into the blast that took place on January 31 at Molakera village in Humnabad taluk of Bidar district and booked two people.
Inspector General of Police (North East) Shantanu Sinha visited the spot and conducted a thorough inspection.
He was briefed about the development by Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gunti and Deputy Superintendent of Police Madolappa.
Humnabad police have registered a case against two people, Chand Pasha and Jabbar Miya.
Both were booked for storing hazardous chemical waste without taking adequate safety precautions.
Chand Pasha was being questioned by the police, sources said.
The explosion occurred on January 31 and seriously injured six people, including four children.
The exact cause of the explosion is not yet known.
