Jeedimetla’s police arrested two men who tried to blackmail £ £ £ £ by an entrepreneur by acting as naxality on Wednesday.
The defendants, the two natives of Gannavaram in Andhra Pradesh, were captured in the early hours of the Hindustan Machine Macals (HMT) forest area (HMT) and were confiscated by 13 bombs, threatening letters and four mobile phones.
The defendants were identified as Yerramsetty Raju (33 years) and Kandurelli Raju, 24, currently in Shapur Nagar on the outskirts of the city.
The case came to light on May 22, when the complainant, Kuna Raghanender Goud, proceeded to the police after his father Ravinder Goud found that the Tulasi plant had been damaged before their home and a towel and letter were placed on their car. The letter written in Telugo and signed under the name of the Naxalite Group, demanded 50 ₹ Lakh and threatened them with terrible consequences unless the requirements were met.
Search teams were created to analyze shots from more than 500 CCTV cameras to watch fuel. After their arrest, they confessed to the crime and revealed that financial anxiety made them organize an attempt to blackmail.
The investigation revealed that Yerramsetty Raju, who has previous records of offenses related to property at the Gannavaram police station, has recently lost his job in a private company. Together with his collaborator Kandurelli Raja, he devised a plan to focus on the wealthy individual in Shapur Nagar in the hope of ensuring fast money through tactics of fear.
When the initial threat could not evoke an answer, two traveled to Vizianagararam, where they allegedly assembled an improvised explosive device (IED) in an effort to escalate their intimidation. They returned to Hyderabad with the intention of planting and launching the bomb to force the victims to comply with the regulations. However, their plan was thwarted before damage.
