Two morning fires were reported in Hyderabad; no casualties

Two fires, one involving a 38-passenger private tour bus near Karmanghat and another at a plastic water bottle factory in Hayathnagar, kept firefighters busy on Thursday (September 24, 2026). In neither case was there any injury or loss of life.

The first fire broke out in a moving private tour bus which was heading towards Srisailam, near the Karmanghat Hanuman Temple. Firefighters received a call at 2:13 a.m

“There were 38 passengers traveling in the bus,” said a fire officer. No passengers were injured.

A multi-purpose tender (MPT) from LB Nagar was the first to reach the spot, followed by a water tender from Malakpet. The fire was brought under control and the fire engines returned around 5 am

A few hours later, at 5:34 am, the fire brigade received another call about a major fire at the G+2 building in Hayathnagar. The premises housed a production unit for plastic water bottles.

Three fire tenders, including a water tender from Hayathnagar, an MPT from LB Nagar and another water tender from Malkajgiri, rushed to the spot.

Firefighters at the scene said the fire was apparently of electrical origin. No injuries were reported in the incident.
