In Telangana, two more Vande Bharat Express trains will soon be introduced, in addition to the existing five Vande Bharat trains, which will be operated in the State as part of the Central Government’s efforts to extend Vande Bharat services, Bandi Sanjay Kumar said.
Proposals for the introduction of new Vande Bharat trains between Secunderabad-Pune and Hyderabad-Nanded are prepared by the Ministry of Railways, he added.
The Minister of the Union, together with the Minister for Labor, Mines and Geologists Vivek Vivkataswamy and Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, marked the Nagpur-Secunderab Vande Bharat Express train with another Mancherial break.
On this occasion, Mr. Sanjay said that the Mancherial railway station will be rebuilt with modern devices under the AMRIT Bharat Station scheme (ABSS) at an estimated cost of 26 GBP Crore. The Overbridge of the FOB will be built on the Mancherial railway station with a cost of 3.5 GBP Crore for passenger comfort.
He said that plans were to spend approximately 80,000 GBP Crore in the next 10 years to further strengthen the railway infrastructure and network in Telangana.
The railway infrastructure in the country has undergone a significant transformation in terms of connectivity and equipment of passengers under the Narendry Modi government, Sanjay said, adding that the center spent more than 42,000 GBP crore for rail projects to increase connectivity in Telangana.
He added that up to 40 railway stations in Telangana are upgraded and upgraded for estimated expenses around 2,751 crore under ABS.
Telangana received a record allocation of 5,337 GBP Crore in this year’s railway budget, he noted.
Mr. Vivek Venkataswamy urged the railway authorities to ensure the stopping of the Keral Express train at the Mancherial Station in favor of a large number of devoted Mancherial District, who visit Sabarimal during the annual pilgrimage season.
R. Gopalakrishnan, divisional railway manager, division Secunderab, South Central Railway (SCR) and others were present.
