
Two minors were killed and their father was injured when a vehicle for crossing a private personal carrier encountered a scooter that on Tuesday in Devanahali on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Nandan, 13, and his sister Dhanushri (12), who are students of class 8 and 7 at the government school, and were injured as munitions, the father of the minors.
The children returned home around 4:30 pm after school, and their father Muniraja rose when the accident occurred. The police said the duo was not wearing helmets and Muniraj, who worked as a painter of the wall, went to bring his children from school and went triple.
When the scooter arrived on the Sulibele road in Devanahali, the driver of the traveler who was allegedly produced and carelessly rode, knocked the scooter. Due to the impact, the scooter slipped and the children came under the moving wheels of the traveler. Muniraju fell to the right side of the road and suffered minor injuries.
The passers -by hurried children to the nearby hospital, where Nandan was declared dead, and Dhanushri succumbed later.
The driver reportedly fled the scene, but later gave up the police. The Devanahali Traffic Police registered the case of the intervention and ran against the drivers and charged him for causing death due to negligence and rash and negligence.
