Police Govindarajanagar is looking for two men who allegedly attacked a 77 -year -old woman and robbed her valuables on the 11th road on Wednesday morning. The main road, Subbanna Garden, Vijayanagar.
The victim, Indira Honnagangaiah, resident Bapuji’s layout, came out for a morning walk around 9:30, when two men confronted her on the motorcycle and tried to catch a gold chain. In Melee the chain fell to the ground and the duo accelerated.
She shocked, lifted the chain, put it in her purse, and started returning home. Within ten minutes, however, the duo returned, grabbed the purse and set off.
The handbag contained 40 GM gold chain worth 3 £ Lakh, mobile phone and 400 GBP in cash. The victim returned home and later filed a complaint to the police.
