Two men were arrested under the protection of children from the Sexual Crime Act (POŠSO) for alleged sexual harassment of two smaller schoolgirls in Tiruchi district.
The victims who studied in classes VII and IX at the government school were found to be disoriented on arrival at the school. The teachers concerned took them to the nearby government hospital, where Tiruchi Mgmgh was handed over to treatment. Sources said the girls were reportedly sexually harassed.
After the mother of one of the victims filed a complaint at the police station for all women Musiri, the case was registered. After the police investigation, Ajith, 20, a worker at a local welding shop, and Kesavan, 23 years, a daily wage worker from Mettupalayam near Musiri.
The defendants were booked according to the POCSO Act, produced on Friday before the court by the court court and advanced in judicial custody.
