On Monday (September 22, 2025) after the rain on Monday (22 September 2025) after the rain collapsed a three -storey house, killed two people and injured 12 others, the officials said.
The district collector Shivam Verma said that 14 family members were imprisoned under the ruins of the building.
Of these, 12 underwent treatment in the government hospital Maharaja Yeshwantrao (MyH), the officer said, adding that the deceased was identified as Alifa and Fahe.
Dean Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Dr. Arvind Ghanghoria, said PTI that Alifa (20), who was imprisoned under the ruins of a collapsed building, was brought to the Maharaja Yeshwant Rao hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.
The five -hour rescue operation is now over, said the district collector. “The front of the building was recently rebuilt, but the rear was old. We will explore the condition of the building foundation.”
The mayor of Pushyamitra Bhargava said part of the collapsed building fell on the neighboring structure. Pre -information suggests that the building was eight to 10 years.
