Mattannur police on Sunday (July 27, 2025) confiscated two kilograms of suspicious Ganja from a resident who was supposed to be a key supplier in the region. The arrested was identified as shihab, 38, native of Lance.
According to the police, a smuggler from Bengalur brought him to distribute him in Mattannur and Iritta. The arrests and seizures were carried out under the leadership of Inspector Mattannur M. Anila, with the subordinate inspector CP Lish aimed at the operating team. There is another investigation to follow the supplier chain and identify the others involved in the network.
