
In the case of computer slavery, two arrests were carried out by the Cyber Security Office (TGCSB). The accused were involved in several cases of computer slavery associated with fraudulent call centers from Southeast Asia.
One of the accused, Kolnati Nagashiva aka James, 36 and the inhabitants of Jeedimetla in Hyderabad, was arrested at the international airport Netji Subhas Chandra Bose in Calcutta 19 May. Nagashiva is the accused in three other cases registered at the Nizamabad police station and the Armarska police station. The authorities that operate on the view of the orbit (LOC) issued by SP operations in TGCSB detained it after arrival from Laos. Police Nizamabad later took him into custody on the basis of a transport order issued by the Barrackpore Municipality in West Bengal.
The second accused, Hithesh Aryna Tymy, 29 and a native of Porblet in Gujarat, was arrested in Delhi. He was recently repatriated from Myanmar, along with several cyber slavery victims through the efforts of the coordinated by the Ministry of the Interior. He was associated with two criminal cases at the Manakondur Police Station in the Karimnagar district and another at the Khanapur police station in the Nirmal district. While the TGCSB teams were in Delhi to help with the return of the rescued victims, identified Hithesh and inform the local police to ensure its arrest.
The arrest monitors 23 cases registered at various police stations in Telangana in March and April on the basis of complaints from Indian nationals who were rescued from illegal Call fraud centers in Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. Further investigations are underway.
