On Friday evening, a civilian supplier was found at the construction site before the Ksrtc depot in Arsikere.
Vijay Kumar, 46, was reportedly murdered by two people, including a minor, both from Bihar.
Vijay Kumar took the construction of a hotel building in a place belonging to KV Srinivasa Reddy, a hotelier in Arsikere. Two of his workers remained on the construction site.
According to the police, Vijay Kumar called around 23 hours on Friday. Before he got there, he informed the owner of the Srinivas Reddy website that he was on his way to the place when he learned that his workers had a spear.
Srinivas Reddy later suspected of developing and checked the footage of CCTV on his mobile phone. He saw that workers leaving the bike place belonged to the supplier. He rushed to the place and found the supplier Vijay Kumar, dead.
Srinivas Reddy informed the Police Arsikere, who then visited the place and registered the case.
During the investigation it was found that Bikram Kumar (25 years) and a smaller boy reportedly murdered Vijay Kumar and took the golden ornaments he was wearing. They also cut one of his fingers to pull out the ring.
They were arrested in Bengaluru. They arrived in the city by train looking for another train that fled to their hometown. One of them is said to be minor, according to Aadhaar card.
